I returned home today and there was a message from a man in Jackson, MS, had
called to inform me that he googled PPL and my name came up on the first
page. It came through the Chamber Nation Website, so he went there and then
linked to my PPL website and bought a membership. That Richard Scully knows

Thanks to Chamber Nation, our strong web presence, and the hard work of our Board of Directors, we are making great progress at South Fairfax Chamber of Commerce. Our membership is increasing and our first public meeting is scheduled for next week. We have already had over 50 current and prospective members register to attend and our membership continues to expand.
We have had three recent press articles with a mention of Chamber Nation, and quote from you appearing in the January 28th article, 'Southern Fairfax Businesses Go Virtual.' We are looking forward to continued coverage in the local, and hopefully even national press, as our membership grows and interest in our unique approach to chamber of commerce development broadens.
We are eager to learn more about how Chamber Nation can help us continue to build momentum, and reach out to the broader chamber community via the U.S.CoC, various business networking organizations, publications, and media. We, the chamber, are working diligently to promote the new site. There will be a press release soon but what I am finding is that for us word of mouth and aggressive one on one conversations will be needed to get this moving forward. We held a mixer last night to the health and wellness business sector and I am setting up a meeting with another community business organization in Andes to do the same. I believe that this site and our message that we must work together to support each other to grow businesses and build community is making this effort successful. Your system and Chris's skill and dedication to us in developing the site has given us the chance to be what I believe this chamber can be and that is an agent for positive change. For me, I am thrilled.
We have many challenges and still have much to learn but we are glad that we are working together.

Recently, the "Search and NOT Found List" was added to the admin system that allows the administrators to view what prospects and tourist are looking for in the Chester-Lake Almanor, CA area and NOT finding. What great response we got at the Chamber mixer last night, we were the main presenters and showed off the ectown system.
We are developing a section on our site dedicated to ectownusa and chamber site development. We expect it to take about three weeks till we have everything together.
Once we have finished were going to start marketing to other chambers in the area! We will probably have some stuff for you to post on the site you made for designers as well.
Just wanted to let you know that everything is going really well and the chamber is very happy.

The event calendar has been quite a hit as I've added some events and told others about it. I had several pending events yesterday morning to review. We actually had our first event reservation paid by credit card a few days ago. Pretty cool. I also sent out a full membership email invitation last week to one of our events. I checked this morning and had several rsvps. I shared this with a couple of Board members today who were equally pleased as me. I noted that each one of those was one less phone call to the office just for rsvp. Excellent!!
I added our latest newspaper edition, "Duarte View", to the Publications. It was online 2 days before it was delivered by mail in town.
It looks like TCS pages are being populated over time from existing web sites. I assume your staff is doing that. Thank you, they look great. I'll be sending a survey soon to Board members for selecting their "Chairmen (etc.) of the Year" awards. Didn't take long to setup.

Written to a prospective Chamber customer by a current customer,
I'm so glad you asked (prospective customer checking on EcTownUSA). We love EC Town. We have had the new site for over a year now. I love the fact that our web presence has not only improved from where we were prior, but most importantly is all real time member database and eliminating the multiple databases we used to have to maintain .
Our site views have increased by 112%, now that may be because we never had a true tracking mechanism in place before, and now EC Town is so reliable and accurate that we now have real numbers.
Our membership has increased by 72 members since we started with EC Town. They aren't all from just the website, but we've had 21 use the site to join from other communities and the others have been convinced of the value their membership will have due to the multiple new benefits the site has.
Richard and his staff have been unbelievable to work with. I highly encourage you hire him to come to your Chamber and get to know you and the staff and also have him train you. His insight as to how to set things up and training is invaluable and I think that inviting him into your office gives him a connection that helps on his end as he thinks about new modules he develops. He then understands you and your needs better.
Every day I get an email from him introducing another new feature. I can't keep up!!!
I 100% recommend this software and the company. We've been very happy with the results and are looking forward to all the new benefits they continue to add to our members' benefits list!

I'm so glad you asked (prospective customer checking on EcTownUSA). We love EC Town. We have had the new site for over a year now. I love the fact that our web presence has not only improved from where we were prior, but most importantly is all real time member database and eliminating the multiple databases we used to have to maintain .
Our site views have increased by 112%, now that may be because we never had a true tracking mechanism in place before, and now EC Town is so reliable and accurate that we now have real numbers.
Our membership has increased by 72 members since we started with EC Town. They aren't all from just the website, but we've had 21 use the site to join from other communities and the others have been convinced of the value their membership will have due to the multiple new benefits the site has.
Richard and his staff have been unbelievable to work with. I highly encourage you hire him to come to your Chamber and get to know you and the staff and also have him train you. His insight as to how to set things up and training is invaluable and I think that inviting him into your office gives him a connection that helps on his end as he thinks about new modules he develops. He then understands you and your needs better.
Every day I get an email from him introducing another new feature. I can't keep up!!!
I 100% recommend this software and the company. We've been very happy with the results and are looking forward to all the new benefits they continue to add to our members' benefits list!

I found your website by accident, but what a pleasant one! You have possibly the cleverest interactive and interesting site in all of California. I live in LA and you'd think such a major city, with access to graphics and animation, would have a very smart website. Alas, no one around from San Diego to San Francisco can equal yours. I've looked at other small cities and towns sites in the State, and yours just outdoes them 100%
Whoever designed your site deserves kudos. It makes one almost want to pack up and move to Quincy! I've lived in CA all of my life and seen a ton of places in the world. Yet it's funny that I know very little about the smaller places that make up our wonderful State. I've always thought that after the Wine Country, Fort Bragg and a few other places, there was not much else to see further north. Boy, was I wrong:)

The site looks good. I have been adding something almost every day. I will have to take pictures of my instock items to put on when I have time. It's real easy to work with and we had no problems putting anything on the site.

I am writing this on behalf of our Board of Directors and myself. We recently billed our annual membership investment to our members. In the last three weeks we have received back 60+% of our renewals. We have never seen a retention level this fast nor this high in such a short time at our chamber. This has been primarily due to Ectown USA and the service you have brought to our membership and chamber.
With our recent renewal all levels of membership were heavily increased. To date we have had only two members question this increase and they readily renewed at their higher rate, directly as a result of Ectown USA and the services you have provided us. Thank you for all you have done and keep up the great work!

I wanted you to know the new web site (EcTownUSA System) has given me quite an edge over all other publications in the area. I think it will take a while, but this site and the physical publication will really grow this next year.
I just had a lady call who wanted to place just a text ad for 50.00, but when I told her all that she would get if she just placed a small graphic ad she jumped on it. That is an extra 100. I would not have gotten. and the list is long of similar stories.
